Delete your Cuadra account
You can delete your account and your data whenever you like, in the app or by email. Here’s how, and what happens to your data.
In the app
- Open Cuadra and sign in with the account you want to delete: open Cuadra.
- Go to Account → Delete account.
- Confirm. The account is deleted right away and this can’t be undone.
If you want to keep your records, export your groups to CSV or PDF from the app first.
By email, if you can’t sign in
Write to us from your account’s email address, so we can check the account is yours.

- Ask us to delete your account. Nothing else is needed.
We may ask you to confirm the request. We process it within 30 days and let you know when it’s done.
What is deleted and what is kept
Deleted
- Your account and sign-in with email or Google.
- Your email address, profile name and photo.
- Your notification tokens and preferences.
- Groups where you were the only account holder, with all their expenses and receipt photos.
Kept, not linked to you
- In groups you share with other account holders, your member entry stays as a member “without an account” under the name the group gave it (or “Ex miembro”, Spanish for “former member”).
- Its expenses and payments in those groups, so everyone else’s balances still add up.
What the app stores on your device (the offline copy and your preferences) is removed by clearing the site’s data in your browser or uninstalling the app.
